My Other Closet the Cabaret’ is one man’s true-life account of his journey to intimate partner violence “survivor”. Through powerful storytelling and re-workings of classic pop songs, it gives insight into, and dispels the myths surrounding intimate partner violence in same gender and gender diverse (LGBTQ) relationships.
This ground-breaking event will assist a range of professionals in the Toowoomba area to respond more effectively to abuse or violence in LGBTQ relationships.
