PLT Presentation with the College of Law – via zoom

26 May 2021 @ 6:00 pm 7:30 pm

You may already have discovered that a law degree is only the first step to becoming a lawyer.

Please join us and Jacqui Owen from the College of Law for an ONLINE presentation about Practical Legal Training (PLT) via ZOOM on Wednesday 26 May at 6pm. This information session will give you the lowdown on PLT at The College of Law – in particular, how the week one PLT workshops is being conducted via Zoom during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Come find out more about College of Law’s Practical Legal Training course, including:
– When you can start
– What it involves
– Length of the course
– Attendance modes
– Work experience requirements
– Upcoming Queensland dates including how the week one workshops will be conducted online in light of COVID-19

We will also have some handy hints on how to accelerate your PLT for students in the earlier years of their law degree.

REMEMBER: You MUST complete a PLT course in order to be admitted as a lawyer in Queensland!

PLT is undertaken at the completion of your law degree and is a structured training program designed to develop your practical skills and proficiency in the actual day-to-day practice of law, which you will need when starting work as a graduate and then entry level lawyer.

More information about the College of Law and their Practical Legal Training Program is available at www.collaw.edu.au/plt or please contact Jacqui via email jowen@collaw.edu.au
