Established in 2008, the USQLS is a non-profit, volunteer-run organisation for UniSQ law students across Toowoomba, Ipswich, and the external cohort. We’re here to support students throughout their degree by running competitions, networking and social events, career development sessions, and providing practical resources to help you navigate law school and beyond. We also advocate on behalf of students through the Learning and Teaching Sub Committee.
The USQLS is also registered as an incorporated association in Queensland and bound by the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 (Qld). The USQLS is managed and operated by the Executive Council which is made up of eleven voting Councillors and many non-voting Councillors. The Toowoomba USQLS office is located at room T425-3 on the USQ Toowoomba campus, and in Grace House on the USQ Ipswich campus. At the end of each year, the USQLS begins accepting nominations for positions in the Executive Council for the following year.
